GAS STUNNING

  • The typical signs of an effective stun under gas are
    • There is a period of increased respiratory rate followed by slow respiratory movements and final dyspnoea.
    • Corneal and palpebral reflexes are absent.
    • Extreme muscle flaccidity supervenes.
    • The limbs and jaw are consequently relaxed.
