Composition
- Sodium bicarbonate - 0.5 g
- Compound tincture of cardamom - 1 ml
- Aromatic spirit of ammonia - 2 ml
- Distilled water to make - 30 ml
Procedure

0.5 g of sodium bicarbonate is weighed in a pillar balance and transferred to a measuring cylinder and dissolved in about 5 ml of water by stirring with a glass rod. 2 ml of aromatic spirit of ammonia and 1 ml of compound tincture of cardamom are added to the measuring cylinder.

The contents are stirred well and transferred after making up the volume to 30 ml, into a dispensing bottle. The stopper is replaced and secured properly with a piece of thread and the same is packed in the usual pharmaceutical manner and dispensed.
