Persian garden
The traditional Persian garden was composed of four essentials as below: A typical garden is a quadrant pattern with water channels dividing the garden into four sections and this design is called as Char Bagh Design. There was usually a pool or small hill with a pavilion at the intersection of the channels. Shade trees and fruit trees were grown in four square plots. ![]() Courtesy: http://www.patternlanguage.com |
