  • Eruption of teeth in pigs is peculiar unlike the other animals, the corners erupt first. Then the centrals, lastly the lateral and intermediately paired incisors.
  • Regarding molars, the 1st tooth in each jaw medically behind tusk comes out at 5-6 months and remains throughout life while the next 3 premolars are represented in the temporary dentition.
