It is surrounded by Glisson’s capsule. Polyhedral hepatic lobules are observed. But lobulation is indistinct due to less amount of connective tissue

Each lobule has a central vein and cords of hepatic cells radiating from it

Hepatic cells are polyhedral with one or two eccentric nuclei. Sinusoids which are lined by endothelium and Kupffer cells are observed between cell cords

At periphery of lobules portal vein, hepatic artery and bile ductules are observed
