• Shows capsule, cortex and medulla. Cortex shows pars convoluta and pars radiata
• Pars convoluta consists of convoluted parts of proximal convoluted tubules (PCT), distal convoluted tubules (DCT), arched collecting tubules and renal corpuscles
• Pars radiata consists of straight portions of PCT, DCT and straight collecting tubules
• Medulla shows straight collecting tubules, descending and ascending limbs of loop of Henle
