CONCLUSIONS 

• Women play an important role in rearing of livestock
• They spend on an average 4 to 5 hours on livestock activities which include claning of shed, grazing / feedin of animals, miling animals etc.
• women have less control and access over the inome through livestock rearing.
• As the women are involved in livestock rearing, emphasis should be given to involve women in training of livestock farmers.
