FIELD DIAGNOSIS

• Very difficult. Is possible only when the infection occurs as an epidemic. Seasonality of the disease and association with large populations of mosquitoes help in field diagnosis.
• The signs of EEE, WEE and VEE are difficult to differentiate. Histopathologic lesions from tissues of dead animals will also help in field diagnosis.
