Aerators

Definition
The decomposition of organic matter greatly reduces the oxygen content in the pond water. The depletion in the level of dissolved oxygen has a serious effect in the fish life. A fall in the level of dissolved oxygen content below 4 ppm is fetal for fish production. Aeration is the process of mixing of air with water to increase the quantity of oxygen in water.
