Procedure

• · Visit to fish landing centre / assembling centre / wetland / village or institute pond.

  · Make students into possible groups based on the availability of GPS set.

  · Demonstrate the operation of GPS

  · Record the longitude and latitude of different sampling sites

  · Demonstrate the operation to track the route of different sites

  · Ask the groups to operate and record the data

  · Various recorded ordinates should be marked on the available map with pencil.

  *Detailed procedure for operation of GPS should be incorporated.
