• Early diagnosis of pregnancy is required soon after mating for early identification of non pregnant animals so that loss in production time due to infertility may be reduced by treatment.
• Pregnancy diagnosis is also required to certify animals for sale, insurance.
• To help economic management of animal production.
• There are two methods of diagnosis
  • Clinical method
  • Laboratory method.
