CANINE LYMPHOMA

  • Canine lymphoma : The following secrets or rules are to be known.
    • Clinical Stage: IV+V worse than I-III; dogs with clinical signs worse than if asymptomatic.
    • Hypercalcemia: worse when associated with an anterior mediastinal mass.
    • Pretreatment corticosteroids: worse.
    • High grade: higher response rate and longer duration of remission.
  • Malignant lymphoma is a lymphoproliferative tumor of solid lymphoid tissues with possible marrow metastasis and a leukemic phase.
  • Etiology for the canine is unknown.
