SIMULTANEOUS AUSCULTATION AND SUCCUSSION

• On simultaneous auscultation and succession of the right flank at or just below the paralumbar fossa, a “splashing” sound can be heard obliquely over a line extending from the tuber coxae to the tuber olecrani in a case of volvulus of omasum and / or abomasums.
