Soil Requirement

Rapeseed and mustard are capable of growing under a wide range of soil conditions ranging from sandy loam to clay loam but thrive best on light loam soils. Soil having neutral pH (6.5-7.5) are ideal for their proper growth and development but can be grown on moderately saline conditions.
