Torrance lists 84 characteristics of highly creative persons. It includes some of the less attractive or non-appreciable qualities, such as stubbornness, finding fault with things, appearing naughty, not self-satisfied and being discontented. Torrance also described that the creative children possess many likable or appreciable qualities, such as determination, curiosity, intuition, willingness to take risks or facing challenges, preference for complex ideas and sense of humor.
