Infant Psychological Development Scale (IPDS)

  • It was developed by Uzgiris & Hunt in 1975.
  • Suitable for children from birth to 24 months.
  • It was developed based on Piaget’s scale of cognitive development.
  • Used to identify developmental delay.
  • The subscale include Visual pursuit, object permanence, means for obtaining desired environmental events, vocal imitations, gestural imitations, operational casualty, object relations in space and schemes for relating objects.
