Lesson 10 : Planning

Importance of Planning

Planning is important for

1. Effective reaching of goals set: When planning is participated in by staff members and the course outlined so that all understand clearly and reach agreement, then everyone can follow the directions required for success of the center. Everyone will know what must be done to contribute to the goals of the center.


2. Develop an esprit de corps:Staff get better acquainted working together to formulate plans, and develop a common sense of purpose while making plans for their children. Consequently, they feel a joint obligation to work toward the fulfillment of those plans.


3. Specifies what is to be accomplished. Example: Center plan to add a new classroom/ section.
