Improvement in concept of conservation for different dimensions

Children in concrete stage of operations understand that quantity is the same despite a change in its appearance. This is known as conservation. The children in concrete operational stage develop the concept of conservation towards quantity (Solid and liquid quantity), length, area, number and volume. Children master a number of skills around 6-10 years from simple to complex concept of conservation. Children who are slower in simple conservational concept are also slower in complex comprehension skills such as weight and volume.
