Installation of resilient flooring

Both resilient and laminate flooring need to be acclimated before you install them. Store materials away from freezing or fluctuating temperatures. Let sheet flooring relax to remove the curl. Unroll it in a room before installation. Let resilient tile and laminate boards and planks adjust to their new conditions for at least 48 hours in their unopened containers.

Resilient flooring is the thinnest of all flooring materials, so it will conform to almost every defect in the surface under it- cracks, voids, dips- even small depressions from nail heads will show.
