Lesson 11 : Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)

Introduction

HVAC systems are the most commonly energy systems used. They are known as Climate Control. The reason is they majorly perform three main functions in a dwelling which is heating, cooling and ventilation. The main purpose of Heating, Ventilation and Cooling is to help and maintain good indoor quality air and provide thermal comfort. They also regulate room temperature, humidity, and air flow thereby ensuring that these elements are within their acceptable limits.
