Soil air and Soil Temperature

• Soil air provides aeration for plant roots.
• In a water-logged soil the plant dies as the roots do not get air for breathing.
• The soil air content can be improved by drainage
• Certain seeds will not germinate if soil temperature goes down or above a certain limit.
