Introduction

You have learnt that visuals along with text are an important component of information design. When we talk of visuals we imagine photo, drawings, clipart etc. We do not imagine all these things in black and white. We think of these in different colours. Colours are important information design mainly to increase readability and attract attention. Before we proceed to use colour in the information design let us understand the basics.
