Characteristics of Innovation

Among the members of a social system some innovations diffuse from first introduction to wide spread use in a few years where as others take more number of years. This is due to characteristics of innovation, that affect the rate at which they diffuse and are adopted. There are five perceived attributes of innovations in universal terms.
