8.3.1.Introduction
During protein synthesis the mRNA nucleotide sequence is translated into the sequence of amino acids of the specified protein. The translation starts near the 5' terminal with the formation of the corresponding amino terminal of the protein molecule. In eukaryotic organisms, the mRNA translation occurs in the cytoplasm. Protein synthesis can be described in three phases; initiation, elongation, and termination.
