Plankton net with two seams

In this method, a single diagonal cut is first made on the required mesh size of nylon cloth. The resulting two pieces (a and b) are sewn together to form a conical filtering bag. Though this method of cutting is easier than  the previous methoda small wastage of cloth is inevitable.

This method of construction of plankton net follows a simple paper pattern which is then placed over the nylon cloth. For cutting out and subsequent stitching as a net.
