Introduction

Growth parameters are the most essential input parameters for assessing the total instantaneous mortality and prediction of MSY using analytical models. For calculation of growth parameters, the mean length and rate of growth are to be calculated. In this practical, using Gulland and Holt equation, mean length, rate of growth, ‘K’ and $$L_\infty$$ will be ascertained.
