PRINCIPLE

• Weighed sample is dried at a temperature just above the boiling point of water at atmospheric pressure.
• The loss resulted after drying is reported as the moisture content of the sample.
• The moisture percentage subtracted from 100 will give the dry matter percent of the feed.
