PANCREAS

  • The three lobes of the pancreas lie between the curve of the duodenum.
  • Secretory ducts from the pancreas open into the distal end of the duodenal loop adjacent to the opening of the bile duct.
  • Pancreas secretes pancreatic juices due to the stimulation of a hormone called “Secretin”, produced from the small intestine.
