FEED ADDITIVES

  • A feed additive or a supplement is a substance or mixture of substances other than the bulk and basic feed stuffs.
  • It is used in small quantities, usually at less than one percent level in the compounded feeds in order to supplement certain nutrients and non-nutrients to improve the quality of the feed and the performance of the birds fed.
