Full particulars pertaining to all agricultural activities on the farm have to be maintained. The farm should generally have a site map in which all lands of farm including buildings, roads etc are properly represented.

The cultivated area has to be divided into various blocks with field and plot numbers. There should be a proper cropping programme which should indicate which crops are to be grown during each season in different fields.

A cultivation register should be maintained for every field and plot showing particulars of crop grown, details of operation on the field and expenditure incurred and out turn of produce in quantity and monetary value.
