TRADE MARK

• A trademark is a sign, or a combination of signs, which distinguishes the goods or services of one enterprise from those of another.
• A trademark is a sign used on goods or in connection with the marketing of goods.
• The trademark may appear not only on the goods themselves but also on the container or wrapper in which the goods are sold.
• When used in connection with the marketing of the goods the sign may appear in advertisements, for example in newspapers or on television, or in the windows of the shops in which the goods are sold.
