Optimum time for breeding

OPTIMUM TIME OF BREEDING
  • Bitch in estrus reveals the following
    • Vaginal exfoliative cytology (VEC) reveals >80% of superficial and cornified cell
    • Breeding should continue once in 3 days until VEC reveals intermediate cells and neutrophils or until the bitch refuses to stand for mounting by the male
