Diagnosis

DIAGNOSIS 

  • Abdominal palpation reveals discrete oval enlargement that are evenly spaced along uterine horns and often body of the uterus.

Sub involuted placental sites

  • Vaginal cytology reveals presence of multi nucleated vacuolated decidua like cells.

Decidua cells

  • Vaginal examination reveals presence of no growth

Differential diagnosis

  • Metritis, vaginal inflammation , neoplasia and proestrus.
