PRECAUTIONS TO BE CONSIDERD DURING INSEMINATION
|
-
Work under very hygienic conditions, handle semen and A.I equipment correctly and do not try your own methods.
-
Insemination of a cow not in heat should never be done, as pregnancy can never be established.
-
Rule out pregnancy
-
Introduce the A.I gun first at 450 angle, then horizontally and glide along the dorsal side of the vagina.
-
Never use force while introducing the A.I gun.
-
This would lead to injuries in the reproductive tract and affect the conception rate.
-
If an animal jumps or falls down, withdraw the A.I gun immediately to avoid injury to the cow.
