Dysrepair

DYSREPAIR

  • Normally, the cellular dysfunction induced by toxicant target organ interaction may be corrected by repair mechanisms at the molecular, cellular or tissue level. When these repair mechanisms fail, toxicity occurs. Carcinogenic and mutagenic actions of toxicants are due to failure of repair mechanisms.
