• Coat either short-haired or long-haired
• Thighs and tail well feathered in long-haired dogs
• Height 65-75 cm and body weight 75-90 kg
• Occasionally 90 to 100 kg in some specimens
• Tail set high, long and slightly curved, and always carried low.
