Feeding/nutrition

• Three basic principles have to be applied to orchid feeding:

  1. Only well rooted plants should be fed;
  2. The feed is preferable in small but frequent doses;
  3. It should only be applied during the period of maximum active growth.
• The actual feed can be organic or inorganic.
