Learning Objectives

This course has been designed to understand identification and classification of commercially important fishes and other aquatic vertebrates by the students . The course objectives are to provide the students with an introductory knowledge of fish classification. The students will be required to identify common species available in and around their region using morphological keys. This is accomplished through lecture, class discussion and examination of selected specimens.
