Calculate the amount of glycogen present in the sample using the following equation.
mg. of glycogen in 100g of the sample = U x 0.05 x 50 x100x100 ---------------------------------- S x 0.5x 10x1.11 x 1 U = The absorption of unknown test solution S = The absorption of working standard glucose. 1.11 = The factor determined by morris for the conversion of glucose to glycogen |
