8.7.Buoys
These are used in fishing for marking fishing ground, locating fishing gear in operation and also for keeping the fishing gear at the required depth of operation. The different types of buoys are empty watertight tins, wooden barrels, bigger floats made of glass, aluminium or plastic. Some of the special types of buoys used n fishing are light buoys, radio buoys and dahn buoys.
