    Causal organism: Creamy white spot virus
    SYMPTOMS
    • Small, pale yellow to white spots on the leaves.
    • These spots coalesce and form large white areas.
    • The virus is restricted to plum only.

    MODE OF SPREAD
    • Through grafting material and aphids vectors.

    MANAGEMENT
    • Use of disease free planting materials.
    • Exposing the planting material to 37°C for 15-39 days.
    • Apricot seedlings are used as a resistant root stock.
    • Removal of alternate host plant.
