Unconsciousness can be caused by many injuries and medical conditions which include:

Unconsciousness can be caused by many injuries and medical conditions which include:
- Head Injury
- Chocking or Suffocation
- Shock
- Certain Poisons etc.
What to do:
- Check for danger to yourself - assess the scene
- Check responsiveness, shake the casualty.
- Send for an Ambulance
- Proceed to the A.B.C procedure.
- If A.B.C is present and there is no Spinal Injury use Recovery Position.
- If A.B.C. is NOT PRESENT use CPR
- Try to determine the cause of Unconsciousness and report it to medics.
