Readiness for marriage is preparing individuals for marriage. Being ready for marriage is not just a matter of age. Ideas about the level of readiness needed for marriage differ from culture to culture and within cultures. Different people and individuals are ready for marriage at different times and in different ways. This preparation is not an overnight phenomenon.
