Suicidal tendency

Adolescents commit suicide for a variety of reasons:

  • disturbed family situations
  • emotional and social isolation
  • loss of a love or object / person
  • depression
  • stress
  • immaturity
  • lack of self control
  • physical and mental illness
  • guilt
  • anger or hostility.

Suicide is the one of the most important cause of death in adolescence. Typically adolescents who attempt suicide have been struggling with serious identity concerns.
