Nutrient Management
    Most rainfed lowland farmers do not apply fertilizers due to the risk involved in successful crop production. Well decomposed farm yard manure @ 10t/ha need to be applied two weeks in advance. Application of nitrogen @ 40-60kg, phosphorus 20-40kg and potassium 30kg/ha meets the requirement of rice plants.
