Pestalotiopsis fruit rot of grapes
Causal Organism Pestalotiopsis menezesiana Bres. & Torr.
The infection starts just near the peduncle or tip of fruits which spreads rapidly and covers the upper part of the fruit. Lesions on fruits become brownish black and leathery. The fungus also attacks leaves and twigs. |
