- Fenugreek is a self pollinated and quick growing crop produces bright orange to yellow flowers.
- The pods are sickle shaped containing small deeply furrowed seed.
- The flowers open between 6.00 and 9.00 am.
- The stigma becomes receptive 12 hour before and the anthers also dehisce before the flower actually opens.
