Bathing

The foremost step is to see that your bathroom is properly clean and tidy. 3
  • Bathroom needs sanitation every day, not once a week.
  • Bathroom should be kept tidy daily.
  • If you know how to arrange things properly then you would not complain like this.
  • The soap and towel you use should not be used by anyone else of your family or friends.
  • Likewise, if your bathing loaf or sponge or brushes are already one month old, replace with a new one.

Purposes of Bathing

  • Removes perspiration, dirt and microorganisms
  • Stimulates circulation
  • Exercises body parts
  • Refreshes, relaxes and promotes physical comfort
  • Removes odors
  • Allows for evaluation of skin condition

Guidelines for Bathing

  • Provide privacy
  • take precautions to prevent slips and falls
  • have temperature not higher than 105°F for tub or shower
