Importance Of Health Services At Melas

1. During fair/festivals large numbers of people congregate leading to pollution of river or other water bodies. This leads to transmission of diseases
2. People tend to be half starved at festivals. This lowers immunity and higher incidences of infections.
3. Sometimes people may not cooperate with health authorities, leading to complicated situations.
