Yarn Dyeing

Definition:

Yarn dyeing as the name implies dyeing of yarns before they have been woven or knitted in to fabrics. This is one of the oldest systems of dyeing textiles. The dyeing is done after the fibre has been spun in to yarns.

Yarns may be dyed in different forms:

1. Skeins
2. Package dyeing
3. Warp Beam dyeing
4. Space dyeing.
